A sherry-finished expression from Glenmorangie. Initially aged in bourbon barrels, before being moved to Oloroso and Pedro Ximinez casks, the Lasanta is a rich single malt that’s sumptuously creamy and full of red fruit. The Highland distillery’s Director of Whisky Creation, Dr. Bill Lumsden, used the sunset as his inspiration, resulting in a warm and vibrant dram that’s all sweetness and spice. This was originally a no age statement offering when released in 2007, but was upgraded to a 12 year old bottling in 2010.
