Arran - Icons of Arran The Westie - 1998

This release is the follow up to the Arran Rowan Tree and the third in the Icons of Arran series. The bottle depicts Ruaraidh, Arran`s beloved westie. Distilled in 1998, the single malt was matured in 22 ex-sherry hogsheads and bottled in 2010. The nose is dominated by citrusy notes, notes of apricot and a subtle sherried character. The palate combines sweet and fruity notes, with a touch of coffee and nutmeg.
